The Most Ignorant Election In History

So on the bright side, the United States of America is a success. Proof that anyone can rise above and be anything they want to be in our great country. Even though, due to his refusal to show his birth certificate and shady past, maybe a too-young and/or non-American citizen can be President?

I digress, this election is a victory for our nation and at the same time a show of monumentous decline. This was the most uninformed/ignorant election ever. Many people's decisions for their vote was based on race, not on the actual nominees ideals, core beliefs, or direction for the country.

At the Curley's Corner Northern Fortress I am located by a "black" college. Most of the people I talked to, previous to the election and today, voted for Obama simply because he is black.

I think that is unfortunate. The only other reason I got, from a limited few, is that he promised to lower taxes. Now if these voter were informed and cared about facts they would realize that with Obama not renewing the Bush tax cuts, which were the most comprehensive in U.S. history, your taxes will rise. And then Obama plans to "cut" them for the middle class, thus making you taxes lower in 2010, but HIGHER from what you are paying today under the Bush cuts.

Many other questions have gone unanswered. His past with terrorists. His international "schooling" in Islamic Kenya.

I guess this proved another saying....

Ignorance is bliss.........
