Don't Count Her Out

Hillary Clinton is not done. I will believe it when they are at the convention naming someone else, and at that point I still might be skeptical. Maybe after there is a new President I will lose that worry in the back of my mind. Hats off to Obama for spinning the spin back on Clinton.

As for the Republicans, I don't think I would be able to bring myself to vote for McCain. It is just like a vote for a liberal appeaser. Conservatives need to stop trying to make libs happy. Screw them, they are wrong. I am all for debate, but i'll be damned if I talk about our differences with you and am concerned about whether or not you accept my opinion. I don't care. And conservatives need to not care either.

Fred Drops Out / The Curley Now In Rudy's Corner

With Fred Thompson dropping out of the presidential race we will now be supporting Rudy Guiliani. It was a huge mistake for Thompson to drop out, but he got in late and that was a huge mistake from the start. When Fred had the national buzz he should have jumped in at that moment and swept in on that momentum.

Rudy is a good man who has a great thing in his corner, the enemy fears him. Terrorists fear him and his great leadership. Rudy is very socially liberal, but is in favor of strict constructionist judges for the Supreme Court, that should hold everything check, it should be some fun coming down to the wire. But remember that a vote for McCain is a vote for liberal socialism.

Strong Showing By Fred...

As business winds down in SC, it looks like Fred Thompson will be finishing a solid 3rd place. After really not showing in New Hampshire and Iowa, Thompson appears to be finishing 3rd and ahead of a previously streaking Mitt Romney.

McCain takes the win with Huckabee taking 2nd. Rudy Guiliani is still preparing to make a stand in a less religously fueled Florida. It will be interesting to see how the next week works out, hopefully Fred's people will mobilize to make him more visible in the news over the next couple of weeks leading up to Super Tuesday.

On the Democrat side, Hillary is starting to get worried about Obama, hence all the smears that her "staff" leaks out. If she can't control her staff what makes you think she can control a country, or a military, or even her "staff" as President. She is a mess, but don't count her out. Once Carville and Begalla get involved anything can happen. They are world class smear merchants. And that makes the difference between Democrats and Republicans. Republicans talk fact, cause and effect. Democrats talk about feelings and personal attacks. I am still not sure what the Democrats stand for, because they waste all their time telling you what they are against.

It's Official....

Good Day to all of our readers. It has been some time since the last post, living with a new member in the family takes a little adjusting, however I have not removed myself from the political landscape. Here at curleyscorner.com we have made our decision and thrown our support behind Fred Thompson.

It was a close race between Fred and Rudy, but I believe in the no nonsense attitude that Fred brings everyday. He is a very clear cut conservative and hey, isn't it time for another conservative actor to be President? It worked out pretty well last time.

Over the next few days you can expect to see a link to the curleyization of America stores which will now feature some Get with Fred gear and some great anti liberal gear too.

GET WITH FRED!
